Job Description

You will support the Clinical Governance & Quality (CGQ) Department in leading the administrative functions for various clinical quality and quality assurance programmes. In carrying out the various duties, you will be required to work closely with the senior management, clinical chiefs and doctors, patient care staff and other CGQ staff members.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide secretariat support to the Quality & Value Council and other clinical quality and governance committees.
  • Oversee data management and statistical analyses, including outputs from incident reporting systems and clinical quality indicators for various committees and workgroups.
  • Oversee the Clinical Audit & Documentation Standards Committee, ensuring effective secretariat support and the timely completion of audits.
  • Review, draft and vet Medical Board work instructions and policies.
  • Support and facilitate the management of Serious Reportable Events (SREs), where required.
  • Support the management of medico-legal cases, including the coordination of case reviews, collation and secure handling of relevant medical records and documentation, and tracking of case progress.
  • Support the various clinical quality initiatives and related activities of the department, including events such as the Value Festival, Joint Commission International (JCI) audits, and MOH Hospital Licensing audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a healthcare related discipline
  • At least 8 - 10 years working experience in healthcare quality, preferably clinical quality.
  • Strong critical/analytical thinking and problem solving skills, and resilience to perform well under pressure
  • Able to write clearly and succinctly using English
  • Good interpersonal skills, a team player, and detail oriented
