Key Responsibility:
- Act as the primary financial and analytical support to Business Development & Partnership on all strategic initiatives.
- Lead development of investment business cases for new opportunities, including JVs, M&A, partnerships, capital requests, and pricing of strategic investments.
- Build and maintain robust financial models (DCF, IRR, sensitivity, scenario analysis) to support decision-making and negotiation.
- Evaluate commercial structures, deal economics, and value creation mechanisms for partnerships and new business models.
- Support cross-border and international deal evaluations, including currency, risk, and return analysis
- Provide financial insights to support negotiation strategy and deal structuring.
- Leverage investment tracking and analysis from the FP&A team to: 1) Model alternative scenarios 2) Assess upside/downside risks 3) Recommend actions for portfolio optimization or changes to existing investments
- Monitor performance versus business case and highlight variances, risks, and corrective actions
- Constructively challenge assumptions, forecasts, and proposals with independent financial judgment.
- Proactively identify key risks, sensitivities, and downside scenarios, and work with stakeholders to define mitigation plans.
- Help define KPIs, key value drivers, and performance dashboards for new and existing initiatives.
- Prepare clear, concise materials for ExCom / Investment Committee / Board-level discussions.
- Support continuous improvement of financial modeling standards, templates, and investment processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, finance, banking, accounting or other related area, CFA qualification (or in progress) is preferred
- Minimum 710 years of relevant experience in business finance, financial modeling, investment banking, or corporate finance at least 5 years at management level
- Experience supporting business case development for new investments, capital requests, partnerships, or M&A
- Experience in international or cross-border investment deals is a strong advantage
- Experience working closely with senior management and supporting strategic decision-making
- Advanced Excel / financial modeling skills; strong analytical and start-up mindset.
- Strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to translate financial analysis into actionable business insights
- Advanced financial management, investment analysis, and financial modeling skills
- Strategic thinking with the ability to evaluate complex investment scenarios and long-term value creation
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and influencing skills, including the ability to constructively challenge assumptions
- Effective stakeholder management across cross-functional and senior-level teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
