Oversee scrum process and coach the team; facilitate transparency, inspection and adaptation
Lead daily scrum, sprint review, and planning meetings in a way that ensures full team engagement
Support the Product Manager and team in release planning
Leverage sprint retrospectives to improve team performance across every sprint
Remove impediments (e.g., cultural barriers, logistic challenges, coordination w/other teams)
Guide the team and organization on how to use scrum & other Agile practices and methodologies
Foster close cooperation across all team members, encourage cross-training and supporting each other; Create and maintain the appropriate channels for open communication within the scrum team (e.g. tracker boards, JIRA) to create a trusting and safe team environment
Facilitate discussions leading to collective decision-making, goal setting and conflict resolution within the team
Continuously seek to improve team performance by promoting joint accountability for results and solving productivity issues
8-10 years of experience in Agile Development preferred with a deep understanding of agile techniques (e.g. User Stories, sprint reviews, retrospectives, etc.)
At least 1 successfully delivered project using Scum methodology in the role as Scrum Master
At least 3 successfully delivered technical projects with experience in software development and/or project management
A relevant business degree and scrum certification would be a plus
Experience in the financial services domain would be a plus
