Conduct comprehensive credit analysis for SME customers, including financial statement analysis, cash flow assessment, repayment capacity evaluation, and risk identification
Assess borrowers business models, industry risks, and management capabilities
Prepare clear, concise, and well-structured credit proposals supported by sound credit judgment
Recommend appropriate credit structures, limits, tenors, and covenants
Demonstrate strong credit decision-making with clear and well-supported rationale behind recommendations
Take ownership of assigned credit cases from initial analysis through approval and post-approval monitoring
Proactively identify risks, early warning signals, and appropriate risk mitigation measures
Balance business growth objectives with prudent risk discipline in credit decisions
Work closely with Relationship Managers (RMs) to understand customer needs, business drivers, and transaction purposes
Provide credit guidance and challenge assumptions when necessary to ensure sound risk outcomes
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including Credit, Risk, Operations, and Legal teams, to ensure smooth and effective credit execution
Monitor portfolio quality and performance of assigned SME accounts
Review covenant compliance and adherence to credit conditions
Support portfolio reviews, stress cases, and ad-hoc credit analysis as required
Contribute insights to enhance credit assessment processes, tools, and turnaround time
Support data-driven analysis and the adoption of best practices in SME credit underwriting
Qualification :
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Credit Analyst, Credit Underwriting, Risk Analysis, or related roles
Experience in SME lending is required
Background combining RM + CA is a strong advantage
Experience in banking or financial institutions preferred
