Staff Engineer, Manufacturing Process Engineering

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overall HGA Front End Process control and improvement on HVM product and consolidate product package preparation to support shipment. And lead customer issue solving for HGA Assembly area.

This job is responsible for delivering the organization outcome as stated:

• Monitor and control overall HGA Assembly performance.
• Consolidate Data package to support product shipment
• Product KPIV/KPOV monitor and control
• Direct material quality tracking and control retention sample.
• Control special build for HGA Assembly (Front end area)
• Defect control and lead for root cause finding and action with equipment and process engineer in each HGA Assembly process
• Control the engineering evaluation or other per requirement.
• Indirect material performance monitoring.
• Assy process LLP performance monitoring and control.
• Work closely with HGA Backend engineer for customer issue.
• Monitor and optimize HGA KPI performance on all assembly cells

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree or higherin ChemicalScience/Engineering, or equivalent related field
• 5+ Years experience in process engineering, preferably in HGA or related manufacturing

PREFERRED:

• Eager on learning and self-development
• Experience in electronics or HDD industry
• ESD and Contamination impact/related on the HGA.

SKILLS:

• Project management abilities,
• Problem-solving,
• Cross-functional collaboration
• Use Microsoft office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, power BI.
