About our group:

This role provides technical leadership to ensure robust platform, process, and yield readiness in advanced engineering environments. The position acts as a cross-function integrator to enable stable execution and faster learning.

About the role - you will:

  • Integrate performance and excursion management by collaborating with test development, analytics, FA labs, and operation teams
  • Lead yield improvement, including failure categorization and corrective action planning
  • Drive cross-functional technical forums and align engineering and quality stakeholders
  • Integrate inputs across test, process, failure analysis, hardware, and data analytics teams
  • Define and maintain quality mechanisms such as reviewing metrics, and driving for continuous improvements
  • Translate complex technical findings into clear recommendations for leadership
  • Ensure effective communications within the organizations and with external colleagues of performance and quality tracking, issue findings, and improvement plans

About you:

  • Bachelor and higher degree in engineering, science, or related fields
  • 5+ years in HDD, HAMR, or related advanced test / process domains
  • Strong critical thinking across test, process, and analysis
  • Proven ability to lead technical work in cross-functional environments
  • Experience with yield analysis, failure investigation, and process qualification
  • Strong communication skills
