Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Develops new and /or enhances existing technical systems (whole systems, parts, components).
  • These can either be software and / or hardware as well as various products.
  • Responsible for development planning and development strategy in close collaboration with other functions (e.g. marketing, operations).
  • Develops generic and market oriented products.
  • Ensures developments are based on state-of-the-art research and technology.
  • Applied research based on scientific methods, e.g. for quality improvement, process optimization, new products or business areas.
  • Develops, continuously improves, and maintains fully characterized and well documented unit processes for all IFX technologies according to the requirements as derived from the annual road mapping cycle based on requirement inputs from all business divisions.
  • Derives respective unit process roadmaps for all technologies and drives synchronization between different sites and segments.
  • Drives selection of innovation tool types and global tool roadmaps.

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience); 610+ years in high-volume manufacturing
  • Expert troubleshooting/repair of electromechanical, PLC-controlled equipment (pneumatics, hydraulics, motion/servos, VFDs)
  • Develop and execute preventive/predictive maintenance programs; CMMS/EAM proficiency; improve OEE, MTBF/MTTR
  • Read/interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&IDs; skilled with meters/test equipment (CAD a plus)
  • Lead equipment installs/upgrades/validations; coordinate vendors/contractors; CapEx and change control experience preferred
  • Use root-cause and CI tools (5-Why, FMEA, Lean/TPM; Six Sigma a plus) to boost availability, capability, yield, and cycle time
  • Strong documentation and communication; write procedures/reports; mentor technicians; operate with minimal guidance
  • Good command of English
