About the role

Conduct new equipment introduction (automation) and set the equipment Maintenance plan and machine operation instruction, support Process ME (Cable and Cable Assembly) team for the new product pilot run with the objective of meeting production requirements and ensure the machine stability on production within Engineering policies, procedures and systems.

As a Staff MFG and DVL Engineer, you will be responsible for...

  • Equipment Development Project Subject matter expert and working with vendors to develop, set up/debug automation machine; Timely feedback and solving the problem to ensure the progress of the project.
  • Programming & Digitalization Provide automatic control equipment programming according to the production needs and providing digital solution to implement site digital factory projects to improve process control real time.
  • Trouble Shooting Problem identification and trouble-shooting a wide range of complex electrical problems for automation line and be responsible for the effective communication across the company.
  • Technical Guidance Line maintenance/change over together with/guiding the engineers and technicians to make sure automation machine run smoothly.

What you already have...

  • Bachelor's degree or above, majored in Automation or Electrical Engineering, familiar with electrical control theory and design.
  • At least 7+ years experience with automated machines maintenance and electrical design.
  • Familiar with Vision Inspection (Keyence/Cognex), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC),Pneumatics, sensors, motors and other motion control devices.
