Staff Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Quickly learn and understand the existing UI framework, implementation details, and feature set.
• Take ownership of feature development, quality improvements, and performance optimization in assigned product areas.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and fellow developers to understand user needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Contribute to the design and development of responsive, accessible, and high-performing web interfaces.
• Implement and automate end-to-end feature workflows using Python automation where required.
• Ensure code quality by adhering to best practices and maintaining self-documented, modular code.
• Participate in design discussions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance user experience.
• Proactively take on additional technical responsibilities to support product evolution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of front-end web development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/ES6, TypeScript, and React.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS, and building responsive, cross-browser compatible interfaces.
• Familiarity with RESTful API integration and micro front-end architecture.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with build tools such as Webpack and modern JavaScript modules (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript testing frameworks like Karma, Jasmine, or Jest.
• Knowledge of internationalization (i18n), localization (l10n), and security/identity-related areas.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and Jenkins pipelines.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ExtJS framework.
• Background in developing large-scale asynchronous web applications.
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization and high-performing UI design.
• Exposure to front-end automation using Python.
