Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Designs, develops, implements, audits and oversees IFX environmental, energy, health & safety as well as IFX sustainability & social responsibility programs and procedures based on management system approaches to safeguard employees and ensure that IFX is compliant with regulations and internal standards as well as customer commitments.
  • Employee safeguarding explicitly includes work of company doctors, nurses and employees with responsibility for corporate health programs as well as social consultants dedicated to maintain mental health of our employees.
  • Implements adequate risk assessment mechanisms in aforementioned areas - including technical safety derived from insurance requirements - and defines mitigation measures to ensure adequate risk management in area of responsibility.
  • May conduct internal audits in the area of responsibility and maintains certificates such as the ISO14001, OHSAS18001 and ISO50001 certificates based on IFX commitment and needs. Interacts with all relevant stakeholders (internal, external: general public, customers, suppliers, authorities and political decision makers as well as NGO's) as subject matter expert based on a materiality approach, legal requirements, business cases and / or Board commitments.

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Public Health, or Industrial Hygiene
  • Posses Thai Professional Safety Officer certification as defined by Thailand Ministry of Labour
  • Preferably Certified Industrial Hygienist or Certified Safety Professional
  • Familiar with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 audit, strong understanding in the standards and documentation control
  • Deep, working knowledge of Thailand ESH laws, Ministerial Regulations and notification requirements
  • Hazard monitoring
  • Incident investigation
  • 5-8 years experience in Environment, Safety and Health, preferable in multinational companies
  • Good command of English
