Key responsibilities in your new role
Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure products are made efficiently, safely, on time, and up to quality standards including;
- Assigning daily tasks: Delegates specific production line roles tocrew members.
- Meeting output targets: Sets and shifts daily, weekly, or monthly shift goals to align with customer demand.
- Controlling shift scheduling: Coordinates employee timetables, tracking absences, and managing shift handovers.
- Monitoring material flow: Tracks inventory levels to prevent raw material shortages from delaying assembly.
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics,Electrical Engineering, or Operations/Supply Chain Management.
- Industry Background: Minimum of 3–5 years of supervisory experiencespecifically in high-volume, high-precision manufacturing. Backgroundsin semiconductors, electronics (PCB/IC assembly), or automotivecomponents are highly preferred.
- Core Systems: Strong proficiency in using ERP systems (such as SAP),Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Advanced Excel for productionplanning and inventory control.
- Methodologies: Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma(Green Belt is a plus), 5S, and Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) tooptimize workflows and reduce shopfloor waste.
- The candidate must demonstrate a proven track record of managing anddelivering the following metrics:
- OEE & Cycle Time: Ability to optimize Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE)and manage WIP (Work in Progress) flow to reduce cycle times.
- Zero-Defect Mindset: Since Infineon manufactures automotive-grade chips,the candidate must enforce rigid Quality Management Systems (QMS) tominimize scrap and handle non-conformity investigations.
- Manpower & Capacity Planning: Experience in shift roster scheduling,bottleneck management, and balancing resource allocations to meet strictdelivery timelines.
- English Proficiency: Good command of spoken and written English. Thecandidate must be able to generate reports, use English softwaresystems, and interface with global engineering teams.
- Thai Fluency: Native or fluent Thai to effectively lead local shiftworkers, communicate clear targets, and cascade corporate directionsdown to the shopfloor.
