Initial Setup of the Store and Material Handling. Ensuring just-in-time delivery to avoid material shortages or storage space issues, especially for Free issue material.
Ensuring materials are properly categorized and stored systematically during the project's early phase.
Ensure proper storage of materials in designated areas to prevent damage or loss.
Oversee loading and unloading activities, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Inventory and Free Issue construction Material management Concrete, Cement, Rebar and Structural steel
Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
Ensure proper documentation of goods received, including invoices, purchase orders, and delivery challans.
Conduct regular physical inventory checks to reconcile stock records and address discrepancies.
Waste and Scrap Management Free Issue Construction Material
Monitor and control scrap of materials during while in warding and reconciliation of the same with Project, Finance and purchasing team and contractors.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports and submit them to the relevant departments.
Ensure all material receipts, issuances, and returns are logged in the SAP and inventory management system.
Adhere to safety standards while handling hazardous or sensitive materials.
Ensure compliance with project-specific protocols, including material traceability and quality requirements.
Qualification :
Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Logistics, , Materials Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
8 10 years experience in warehouse/store management in large-scale industrial, construction, or manufacturing projects
Experience in handling construction materials, heavy machinery, and engineering components is preferred.
