About the Role: The Strategic Planning and Innovation Director is a dynamic leader responsible for driving innovation, process improvement, and operational excellence across Centara Hotels & Resorts. This role focuses on optimizing business metrics, integrating group-wide systems, and enhancing both guest and employee experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement business process improvement initiatives, including reengineering and optimizing current and new processes to maximize profitable operations.
  • Spearhead the development and delivery of innovative solutions from analysis and project pitch to implementation and launch, ensuring operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Collect and analyze internal and external data, including consumer insights, to identify areas for improvement and innovation. Present findings to senior management for decision-making.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations on areas of improvement, key business process risks, and operational issues. Prioritize projects based on potential impact and value.
  • Develop and maintain a clear roadmap for business and process optimization, incorporating data, market insights, and feedback to guide future projects.
  • Guide and motivate senior leaders, department heads, and cross-functional teams. Foster strategic alignment and enhance collaboration across business units.
  • Work closely with all related departments within Central Group and Centara Hotels & Resorts to integrate innovative practices, facilitate the exchange of ideas, and roll out new initiatives.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to business units, ensuring optimization efforts align with overall business goals and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Propose and implement digital tools that support operational efficiencies, business growth, and enhanced guest experiences.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of implemented initiatives, summarizing overall business process improvements, and tracking performance upsides.

Qualifications: Relevant educational background in business administration, management, or a related field.

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in process improvement and project management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives.
  • Leadership experience in a strategic planning role.
