Negotiate with banks and/or financial institutions to source and compare funding facilities, project financing, and debt restructuring solutions. Coordinate and monitor financing activities to ensure timely fund disbursement and successful financial close according to the project schedule.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to support the company's financing objectives.
Prepare, review, and provide comments on project information memorandums and term sheets. Coordinate project due diligence processes with lenders and their advisors, including legal, technical, and insurance consultants, to successfully secure project financing.
Review, comment on, negotiate, and support the execution of financing-related agreements, including loan agreements, security documents, guarantee agreements, hedging agreements, and other relevant financing documents.
Review, assess, and provide opinions on project-related agreements and associated risks, including power purchase agreements (PPAs), construction contracts, service agreements, financing agreements, and other key project documents.
Prepare, update, review, and maintain project financial models and key assumptions for projects under development or in operation to support project financing activities with banks and financial institutions.
Monitor, coordinate, and follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones and objectives are achieved as planned.
Prepare reports, presentations, and supporting information for management, committees, and external parties for decision-making, approval processes, and other assigned purposes.
Plan, coach, supervise, and evaluate subordinates to ensure effective team performance and successful project execution.
Identify project issues, propose solutions, implement corrective actions, and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed successfully and achieve their intended objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 8–10 years of experience in project finance, corporate finance, investment banking, financial advisory, or related fields, preferably in the energy, infrastructure, or renewable energy industries.
Proven experience in arranging project financing, negotiating with banks and financial institutions, and achieving financial close for large-scale projects.
Strong knowledge of project finance structures, debt financing, financial modeling, and financial analysis.
Experience in reviewing and negotiating financing agreements, security documents, and project-related contracts.
Solid understanding of project development, due diligence processes, risk assessment, and project documentation.
Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, external advisors, financial institutions, and senior management.
Strong leadership skills with experience in coaching, supervising, and developing team members.
