About the Role
We are looking for a Strategy Associate to support the firm's strategic planning and key business initiatives. The role will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to evaluate growth opportunities, conduct market and industry research, and drive selected strategic projects from analysis through execution.
This is a relatively independent role suited to someone who combines strong analytical capabilities with sound business judgment and the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market, industry and competitor research to identify emerging trends, business opportunities and potential risks.
- Support the development and refinement of the firm's short- and long-term strategic priorities.
- Evaluate new business opportunities, strategic partnerships and selected investment-related initiatives.
- Develop financial analyses, business cases and management presentations to support decision-making.
- Lead or coordinate selected strategic projects, working across investment, client, technology and operational teams.
- Track the progress and impact of key initiatives and provide regular updates and recommendations to senior management.
- Support ad hoc strategic analysis and special projects initiated by the leadership team.
- Contribute insights into developments within the family office, wealth management and broader financial services ecosystem.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university a degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related discipline is preferred.
- Approximately 2-5 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, investment, family office, wealth management or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous questions and translate analysis into practical recommendations.
- Comfortable taking ownership of projects and working with a high degree of independence.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to engage senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin is preferred in order to communicate with clients and counterparties in both languages.
- Experience or exposure to family offices, private wealth or investment businesses would be an advantage.
