Role Overview
This position will support the Strategy & Business Development team in driving regional strategic initiatives, with a focus on market and competitive intelligence, analysis, and communication. The Manager will contribute to regional and country-level projects, support the preparation of executive-level presentations, and manage key project workstreams. The role offers significant exposure to regional and global leadership and is ideal for a high-potential candidate looking to grow within a strategic function.
Key Responsibilities
- Support strategic initiatives across the region by managing project workstreams and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Drive market and competitive intelligence efforts, including building and maintaining a centralized repository of insights across key species, products, and markets.
- Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to support strategic decision-making.
- Build excel models and analysis to support business cases (e.g., organic growth, CapEx or M&A assessments).
- Develop high-quality presentations and materials for regional leadership as well as the global management board.
- Collaborate with local Opcos and global functions (e.g., R&D, Product Management, Finance) to support go-to-market planning and portfolio analysis.
- Provide ad-hoc strategic support to the Director of Strategy & BD and the Senior Manager on cross-cutting initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Veterinary Science, Agriculture, Animal Science, Business, Management, Economics, or related fields
- 8+ years of experience in strategy, business development, PMO, or market intelligence roles in the animal nutrition industry or adjacent sectors is a plus
- Strong analytical and modeling skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and Power Point
- Excellent research and synthesis skills; ability to distill complex topics into clear insights
- Comfortable working in a matrixed organization with both regional and global stakeholders
- Experience leading Commercial Excellence initiatives or implementing digital tools and capabilities would be highly valued.
