Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Academic Advising
Guide students in course selection and academic planning.
Support students in understanding their learning pathway throughout middle school and high school.
Ensure students meet academic and graduation requirements.
Student Monitoring & Intervention
Monitor student academic performance, attendance, and behavior.
Identify students who require additional academic support.
Generate reports to support academic advising and intervention strategies.
Pastoral Support
Provide counseling, mentorship, and guidance for students personal and emotional development.
Safety & Student Welfare
Ensure safe guarding and student protection protocols are followed.
Provide a confidential and supportive space for student concerns.
Communication
Act as a liaison between students, families, teachers, and the school.
Provide weekly reports regarding student well-being, learning progress, and relevant matters.
Career & Academic Development
Organize student workshops and orientation activities.
Support students with career exploration and academic goal setting.
Collaboration
Work closely with the Senior Advisor on student cases and operational matters.
Collaborate with teachers to gain deeper insights into individual student academic progress.
Student Activities
Coordinate and organize non-academic student activities.
Facilitate at least one student activity per month.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, orarelatedfield. A Master's degree is an advantage.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the student supportfield.
Strong interpersonal, mentoring, and communication skills.
Ability to support students in a fast-paced school environment.
Fluent in English (speaking and writing) with TOEIC or IELTS score required.
