If you have experience leading a team, take pride in keeping yourself fit and healthy and secretly wish your work felt more aligned with who you are and a pathway to ownership in something you help build, please read on.
MOVE Private Fitness, Southeast Asia's largest personal training studio network with more than 20 studios across Thailand and Malaysia, is now taking our Bangkok growth to the next level.
We are looking for individuals who can lead studio branches, build strong teams, curate an inspiring space for coaches and create an inviting experience for clients.
And if you are currently tired of leading in environments filled with politics, unclear direction, poor culture and targets that feel disconnected from any meaningful purpose, the power to change is now in your hand with this opportunity
At MOVE, we are building the opposite.
We provide the brand, systems, coaching team, client experience framework and growth pathway, so the right leader does not have to start from scratch. Your role is to bring the studio to life, protect the culture, grow the team, serve the clients and build something you can eventually have a real stake in.
You will also be working alongside some of the industry's top minds in personal training, business operations, leadership development, client experience and studio growth.
This is not a job for someone who simply wants to manage a branch.
This is for someone who wants to help build one.
This role is not just for someone from the fitness industry.
In fact, you may come from hospitality, retail, luxury service, healthcare, education, customer experience, sales, F&B, operations or any people-driven industry.
What matters more is this:
What's more As MOVE continues to grow in Thailand, there will be future opportunities for high-performing leaders to grow into larger leadership roles across multiple studios, operations, training, country management and even studio ownership pathways where you can call yourself the owner of the most prestige brand of personal training in Thailand and beyond!
We are ONLY considering candidates who are Thai citizens, permanent residents, or anyone who already carries a valid permit to work in Thailand.
Here are the pre-requisites:
At least 2–3 years of team leading, supervisory, management or operations experience. Fitness background is a bonus, but not required.
Strong people skills. You must be comfortable leading team members, speaking to clients, resolving concerns and creating a positive studio environment.
Good spoken and written communication skills in Thai. English communication is a strong advantage as we work closely across Malaysia and Thailand.
High service standards. Experience in hospitality, luxury retail, wellness, healthcare, education, customer service or premium client-facing roles will be highly valued.
Strong sense of ownership. We want someone who does not wait to be told what to fix, improve or follow up on.
Organised and detail-oriented. You should be able to manage schedules, client experience, team coordination, studio standards and daily operations without dropping the ball.
Comfortable with sales and client relationship management. This is not a hard-selling role, but you must be able to build trust, follow up professionally and help clients make the right decision.
Be a walking and talking role model. You do not need to look like a fitness influencer, but you should believe in health, growth, discipline and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the daily operations of the Bangkok studio(s) and ensure the studio runs smoothly.
Manage and support the coaching team to deliver a high-quality personal training experience.
Maintain excellent client experience from first enquiry to onboarding, training journey and long-term retention.
Follow up with leads, prospects and clients in a warm, professional and timely manner.
Coordinate client schedules, coach schedules, studio usage and operational flow.
Uphold MOVE's service standards, culture, values and brand experience.
Track key studio numbers including leads, conversions, client attendance, retention and team performance.
Handle client concerns, feedback and service recovery with maturity and care.
Participate in team training, leadership meetings, workshops and growth-related activities.
Be a strong contributor to the team culture at MOVE from day one.
Requirements:
Be flexible to work around studio peak hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends when needed.
Be ready to do more than just manage. In a growing company, great leaders are willing to roll up their sleeves.
Be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where systems are improving, standards are rising and growth is expected.
Be willing to lead yourself before leading others. We value humility, ownership, emotional maturity and the desire to keep improving.
Be able to communicate clearly, follow through consistently and hold people accountable with care.
Be excited by the idea of building something meaningful in Bangkok, not just maintaining what already exists.
The right person for this role is not simply a manager.
The right person is a studio builder.
Someone who can protect the culture, grow the business, support the team and create a client experience that people remember.
With every person we decide to bring on, I also make it my conviction to make it a life-changing experience for them.
CJ Lee, Co-Founder
We look forward to your application and the opportunity to potentially build the next chapter of MOVE Thailand together.
