The Sub Region HRBP – TH, VN, CD & PANZ is responsible for leading the overall people strategy across sub region, ensuring alignment with business objectives while fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture.
This role acts as a strategic advisor to the respective sub region leadership team and is accountable for all aspects of human resources, including talent management, organizational development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, workforce planning, leadership development, diversity & inclusion, and HR compliance. The incumbent will drive business growth through effective people strategies and build organizational capability to support both current and future business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR partner to the business by aligning HR strategy with business goals, advising senior leaders, and driving organizational effectiveness, transformation, workforce planning, and structure optimization.
- Own talent and succession agenda by identifying high-potential talent, building leadership pipelines, strengthening succession plans, and promoting a high-performance culture.
- Lead employee engagement and culture initiatives by improving organizational health, supporting change management, and reinforcing values, inclusion, and employer branding.
- Ensure strong HR operations and compliance by managing labor law adherence, employee relations, investigations, policy governance, risk management, and continuous process improvement.
- Support rewards and workforce cost management through partnership on compensation strategy, salary reviews, incentive planning, and benefits competitiveness.
- Drive hiring and workforce planning by overseeing recruitment strategies and ensuring talent acquisition meets current and future business needs.
- Lead and develop the HR team by building capability, succession strength, collaboration, and a service-oriented HR function.
- Use HR analytics for decision-making by tracking workforce metrics, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
Required and Preferred Skills and Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- 10 -12 years of progressive HR experience, including significant leadership responsibility.
- Proven experience leading HR for a large business unit, country, or regional organization within Southeast Asia.
- Strong experience partnering with senior executives and leading organizational transformation initiatives.
- Experience in multinational, matrixed environments preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent management, employee relations, organizational development, and labor law compliance.
