Professional profile:

A qualified sugar process improvement specialist with strong track record in analyzing and improving processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance. Proficient in deploying AI, IoT and cutting-edge digital technologies. With clear understanding of workflows to identify bottlenecks and recommend changes that will streamline operations. Experienced in applying process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. English CEFR level B1 or superior is required.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree:

A bachelor's degree (BSc) or master's degree (MSc) in Sugar technology, Engineering or Science is the minimum requirement.

  • Professional Certifications:

Relevant professional certifications to demonstrate ongoing learning and expertise.

  • Specialized Diplomas:

A higher national diploma or a foundation degree in relevant sugar technology are considered.

Experience Requirements

Experience in large-scale sugar, ethanol and power plant industrial complexes. With deep knowledge and hands-on experience in each of the manufacturing steps across the whole value chain.

Accountabilities

  • Analyze, develop and implement process improvement procedures to achieve the organization goals.
  • Identify areas for improvement, develop and implement solutions, and monitor the results to ensure successful execution and continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring that changes are implemented smoothly and effectively.

Task guidelines

  • Develop and present process improvement plans to senior management.
  • Provie constantly technical support to the manufacturing process.
  • Implement state-of-the-art process improvement methodologies
  • Collaborate with various BU's to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Monitor the implementation of new processes and make adjustments as needed.
  • Train staff on new processes, technologies, practices, etc.
  • Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of process improvements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation on process improvements and changes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in process improvement.
  • Manage multiple process improvement projects simultaneously.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to teams implementing new processes.
  • Evaluate the impact of process changes on overall business performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
