HSA Maintenance Engineering is responsible for ensuring all production equipment in the factory is kept in optimal condition, from advanced robotic automation to precision tooling. We work closely with Manufacturing and Frontline Technician teams to support smooth automation manufacturing, focusing on Cost, Delivery, and Quality for HSA operations.
About The Role - You Will
As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for day-to-day supervision of a specific shift/team with a more focused operational scope
- Team Supervision (Shift-based): Supervise daily maintenance activities of technicians assigned to your shift, providing clear instructions, on-the-job guidance, and immediate support
- Manpower Allocation: Manage and allocate manpower within your shift to ensure sufficient support for production lines, including overtime or task reallocation when required.
- Daily Scheduling & Execution: Execute maintenance schedules and work plans defined by engineering or Senior Supervisor, ensuring tasks are completed on time during your shift.
- Quality & Safety Control: Ensure maintenance work is performed according to standard procedures, quality requirements, and safety regulations; perform routine checks and report abnormalities.
- Coordination with Production: Coordinate closely with production leaders during your shift to align maintenance activities with production needs and minimize downtime.
- Problem Escalation & Follow-up: Support initial troubleshooting and corrective actions; escalate complex issues to Senior Supervisor or Engineering team and follow up on assigned actions.
- Support Maintenance Activities: Support maintenance engineering activities such as PM execution, breakdown response, improvement actions, and other assigned tasks within your shift scope.
About You
- A hands-on and disciplined supervisor who can manage daily operations effectively.
- Good communication and coordination skills, especially with technicians and production teams.
- Able to follow established plans, procedures, and instructions while ensuring execution excellence.
- Detail-oriented with strong awareness of safety, quality, and shopfloor discipline.
- Willing to coach and guide technicians at an operational level to improve performance.
Your Experience Includes
- Experience as a maintenance technician, senior technician, or supervisor in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of maintenance processes, preventive maintenance, and shopfloor operations.
- Familiar with Corrective Action concepts and able to support and execute assigned actions together with engineering teams.
- Experience working closely with production teams during daily operations or shift work.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate technicians within a defined shift or small team.
- Experience or exposure to Kaizen, Lean, or 5S activities is a plus.
