The Supplier Management Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end supplier lifecycle globally covering onboarding, qualifications, performance management, risk management, compliance, and continuous improvement.
This role ensures that suppliers meet company standards for quality, cost, delivery, service, sustainability, and innovation, while strengthening partnerships that drive long-term value to the business.
Supplier Lifecycle & Governance
- Lead the global supplier onboarding, due diligence, and qualification processes (incl. compliance, ESG, financial health checks, and risk management).
- Maintain and continuously enhance company-wide supplier management governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Own the global supplier master data governance in collaboration with the MDM, Digital, and category teams.
Supplier Performance Management
- Develop and maintain a standardized Supplier Performance Scorecard across categories and regions.
- Conduct regular supplier business reviews (QBRs/ABRs), including dashboards, KPIs, and improvement plans.
- Track supplier performance trends and proactively address underperforming suppliers via corrective action plans.
Supplier Risk Management & Compliance
- Implement and monitor supplier risk assessment frameworks (e.g., operational, financial, ESG, regulatory).
- Coordinate supplier audits (remote & onsite) with Category manager, Quality, Compliance, and Sustainability teams.
- Ensure suppliers adhere to corporate codes of conduct, GTC/T&Cs, cybersecurity, and data privacy requirements.
Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) & Value Creation
- Champion the global SRM framework and facilitate strategic supplier partnerships.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Category, R&D, Operations, and Sustainability teams to unlock innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process efficiency, and supply continuity improvements.
Systems & Digital Enablement
- Serve as business owner / SME for Supplier Management modules in S2P/ERP platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua).
- Drive continuous enhancement of supplier portals, self-service onboarding, automation, and analytics.
- Partner with digital and Data teams to ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Manage a team of supplier management specialists.
- Engage with regional procurement leads to ensure consistent global standards and adoption.
- Provide training, guidance, and communication to internal stakeholders on supplier management practices.
Qualifications:
Education & Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
- 5–10 years of procurement/supply chain experience with a strong focus on supplier management, SRM, or supplier quality.
- Experience in global matrix organizations preferred (FMCG, manufacturing, electronics, or similar).
- Proven knowledge of S2P systems, supplier risk tools (e.g., EcoVadis, RapidRatings), and data governance.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience facilitating cross-functional supplier reviews and driving improvement programs.
