We are seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving supplier quality performance, ensuring process compliance, supporting supplier development activities, and contributing to strategic localization and new product initiatives across the APAC region.

1) Key Responsibilities
1.1) Supplier Quality & Audit Management
- Conduct supplier process audits based on VDA 6.3 standards.
- Assess supplier capabilities, process risks, and quality system compliance.
- Identify improvement opportunities and lead supplier development activities.
- Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
1.2) Supplier Qualification & Performance Management
- Support supplier evaluation, selection, and approval processes.
- Analyze supplier performance using key quality metrics, including:
- Parts Per Million (PPM)
- On-Time Delivery (OTD)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and product quality.
1.3) Project & Localization Support
- Support localization initiatives and new project introductions.
- Prepare and maintain supplier and project documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Quality to ensure successful project execution.
2) Qualifications
2.1) Education
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Certified Internal Auditor (ISO 9001) and/or VDA 6.3 Auditor certification is an advantage.
2.2) Professional Experience
- Experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing Quality, or Supplier Development.
- Hands-on experience conducting supplier audits and managing supplier quality improvement activities.
- Solid understanding of automotive or industrial quality requirements.
2.3) Technical Competencies
Strong knowledge of:
- FMEA
- Control Plan
- SPC
- MSA
- CAPA
- Six Sigma methodologies
Familiarity with quality standards:
- ISO 9001
- ISO 14001
- IATF 16949
- VDA 6.3
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, injection molding, or electronics assembly will be highly valued.
2.4) Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic and international environment.
- Effective project coordination and multitasking abilities.
2.5) Language Skills
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Thai and/or German language skills are considered a plus.
