Location: Chonburi Salary Range: 45,000 - 55,000 THB (Based on experience) Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (5 days/week)
Responsibilities:
- Manage supplier quality claims, cost recovery, and follow-up on remedial actions.
- Reduce customer complaints by proactively managing incoming material quality and analyzing defect trends.
- Monitor, evaluate, and drive the improvement of supplier quality KPIs.
- Lead the investigation of supplier quality issues using 8D methodology and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to ensure permanent corrective actions are implemented.
- Conduct supplier audits and process validations (VDA 6.3 approach) to ensure manufacturing stability and compliance.
- Review and approve PPAP packages, material changes, and technical documentation to ensure alignment with IATF 16949 standards.
- Collaborate with internal R&D and Project teams to manage Safe Launch activities for new components.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Automotive) or a related technical field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing-specifically within the automotive sector.
- Deep understanding of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3. Knowledge of Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA) is essential.
- Strong command of English for technical reporting and communication with international suppliers.
- Must have a personal vehicle and be able to travel to the plant and supplier sites independently.
- Strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and a firm but professional approach to supplier management.
