Supplier Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute annual audits for AVL suppliers to verify processes and systems.
• Collaborate with sourcing teams to develop and evaluate potential suppliers, including QMS and QPA audits for new suppliers.
• Partner with CQE to identify improvement opportunities and develop action plans.
• Support NPI documentation and implement quality assurance plans through hazard analyses, preventive measures, and verification procedures.
• Conduct regular supplier performance reviews (weekly, monthly) covering KPIs such as raw material inspections, audit findings, DPPM, and scorecards.
• Train suppliers on quality standards, SOPs, and quality tools to strengthen risk awareness.
• Drive suppliers to complete required certifications and agreements, including Supplier Quality Assurance Agreements.
• Promote supplier continuous improvement in areas such as yield (PY), unit per hour (UPH), cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelors degree or above.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in the quality field, with preference for candidates experienced in book products management.
• Proficiency in quality tools such as QC-7, PFMEA, AQP, PPAP, 8D, and SPC.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English or Chinese.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a result-oriented, hands-on mindset.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
