What You'll Do
- Manage supplier quality audits and PPAP submissions
- Manage quality KPI (PPM, OEE etc.) and drive continuous improvement (lean, kaizen etc.)
- Drive improvements utilizing Lean methodologies, Statistical Process Control, scorecards, ensuring supplier quality level improvement, whilst driving systematic problem solving and process improvement plans
- Work closely with whole Team to manage, implement, and track supplier on engineering, design changes, capacity studies and NPI development.
- Track and manage Supplier Correct Action Request process within the manufacturing environment
- Provide leadership and guidance during investigations of major problems and or special projects focusing on supplier development and improvement (8D, Fishbone, 5W)
- Keep up with current and developing manufacturing and engineering trends that concern product quality
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical/ industrial engineering or related field)
- Expect minimum 7 years in QA as a Snr Engineer or Manager with leadership of team, engineering experience.
- Experience and knowledge of PPAP/APQP processes, ISO system.
- In-depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and sampling inspection
- Ability to communicate and direct supplier activities at the management level with proven results in meeting customer requirements
- Ability to define and execute a project using project management techniques
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
