Job Description

Role Summary

The Supply Chain Assistant supports the end-to-end flow of materials and components through the organization - from SAP-based purchasing and goods receipt, through logistics and inventory handling, to incoming quality checks and light hands-on rework of PCB/PCBA assemblies. The role combines administrative supply chain support with hands-on technical tasks in the S2 Lab and inventory area and works closely with the Supply Chain Manager (SCM) to keep purchasing data, stock records, and quality documentation accurate and current.

1. Key Responsibilities

SAP Maintenance & Data Management

. Maintain SAP data to ensure up-to-date supplier and purchasing information.

. Prepare and load purchase orders (PO) and related documentation.

. Handle goods receipting to ensure accuracy in AP invoicing.

. Provide daily updates on Open List status. Logistics Coordination & Inventory Management

. Organize courier services and coordinate logistics movements.

. Manage scheduling for components and materials delivery.

. Oversee maintenance of the office's material holding and inventory storage area.

. Conduct regular stock takes to ensure accurate inventory levels.

. Repack received components and materials, and label items for easy identification.

. Photograph PCB/PCBA/consignment/components and scan relevant reports for accurate recordkeeping.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

. Perform incoming quality testing against design specifications ensure compliance with industry quality standards.

. Address quality rejects, Return Material Authorizations (RMA), and Corrective Action Reports (CAR).

. Handle Certificate of Conformity (CoC), Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS), and other compliance documentation.

. Prepare inspection and compliance reports.

. Identify areas for improvement in work quality and implement corrective actions.

Soldering & Manual Work

. Perform precise RTV application and hand soldering for manual insertion and rework projects.

. Conduct initial testing and inspection of soldered boards to identify defects or issues.

. Ensure soldered boards meet industry quality standards. Equipment Maintenance & Safety

. Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of soldering equipment and tools.

. Adhere to cleanliness and safety protocols in the work area,

. Participate in process improvement projects as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager (SCM).

. Communicate independently and effectively across teams.

Additional Responsibilities

. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

2. Requirements Education

. Diploma or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Electronics, or related field equivalent relevant experience will be considered. Experience

. Prior experience in purchasing, logistics, or inventory administration, ideally using SAP or a similar ERP system.
