SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER - EEC CORRIDOR - MANUFACTURING - EXCELLENT SALARY AND BENEFITS
PRTR EXECUTIVE SEARCH has been retained by a highly regarded FMCG manufacturerto recruit a commercially minded Supply Chain Manager with the ability to take full ownership of end-to-end supply chain operations at a high-performing manufacturing site in the EEC of Thailand.
This is not a desk-only role. You will be expected to lead from the front on the factory floor, in the warehouse, and at the leadership table ensuring materials flow smoothly from supplier to customer while driving cost efficiency, service excellence, and operational discipline.
The role sits at the heart of the site's performance and plays a critical part in supporting regional and global operations across APAC.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
END-TO-END SUPPLY CHAIN
- Full ownership of planning, procurement, warehousing, order fulfillment, logistics, exports, and customer service
- Hands-on leadership and coaching of supervisors and operational teams
- Proactive problem-solving to ensure uninterrupted material and information flow
DEMAND, SUPPLY, PRODUCTION PLANNING
- Ownership of Allocation and S&OP processes
- Alignment of forecasts with production capacity and inventory targets
- Timely procurement from domestic and international suppliers to prevent disruption
PURCHASING, IMPORT AND COMPLIANCE
- Management of purchasing activities with a focus on cost, lead time, and reliability
- Oversight of all import/export activities, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance
- Coordination with freight forwarders and support for returns and credit processes
INVENTORY AND WAREHOUSE
- Strong control of inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and stock audits
- Maintain optimal inventory coverage (3045 days) and minimize aged stock
- Drive FIFO discipline, scrap reduction, and continuous warehouse improvement
ORDER FULFILLMENT
- Ensure all orders are confirmed within 24 hours
- Deliver consistently high OTIF performance for domestic and export customers
- Clear, professional communication with customers and internal stakeholders
- Ownership of a live supply chain dashboard that clearly shows performance vs risk
- Tracking of OTIF, forecast accuracy, inventory health, open POs, cash utilization, and shipment status
- Early escalation of risks with clear mitigation plans
COMPLIANCE SAFETY AND QUALITY
- Ensure full compliance with Thai trade regulations and internal policies
- Maintain audit readiness (ISO, BRC, customer audits)
- Promote a safety-first culture across warehouse and logistics operations
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL AND REGIONAL COLLABORATION
- Act as the central link between Supply Chain, Production, Sales, Quality, Technical, and Finance
- Participate in regional APAC forums and global alignment initiatives
- Support growth and expansion through scalable supply chain capability
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
- Lead cost reduction, efficiency, and service improvement initiatives
- Apply Lean, Kaizen, and digital tools to simplify and strengthen operations
- Build a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 10 years of end-to-end supply chain experience in manufacturing
- At least 7 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Strong exposure to planning, procurement, customer service, warehousing, and logistics
- Proven track record of improving performance and hitting KPIs
- ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar) with strong data and Excel capability
- Lean / Kaizen / Continuous Improvement exposure
- Regional or global supply chain experience
- Familiarity with ISO9001, BRC, and import/export operations
