Supply Chain Officer (Petfood), Thailand (12-Month Contract)

As a Supply Chain Officer, you will be responsible for end-to-end planning and executive of logistics and transport operations, encompassing the scheduling of raw material receiving, production planning coordination and outbound loading and delivery. The role includes route optimization, fleet and driver management, real-time shipment monitoring and proactive issue resolution to ensure timely, cost-efficient and compliant movement of goods. You will also manage all logistics documentation and maintain strong working relationships with relevant authorities to facilities smooth inbound and outbound clearances.

The Position:

  • Develop, plan and coordinate daily and weekly transport schedules by leveraging data-driven insights to optimize routing, load consolidation and delivery sequencing, ensuring timely, cost-efficient operations while maintaining high service standards.
  • Strategically assign and manage tasks across internal drivers and 3rd party transport providers based on capacity, priority and geographic efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for field personnel during transit, ensuring clear communication, accountability and adherence to company protocols.
  • Monitor and manage real-time shipment statuses across all delivery channels, proactively identifying potential delays and escalating where necessary to ensure full compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and customer expectations
  • Anticipate, identify and swiftly resolve logistics disruptions including traffic delays, vehicle breakdowns, route diversions or cargo discrepancies.
  • Implementing contingency measures to minimize customer impact and maintain operational continuity
  • Prepare, verify and maintain accurate logistics documentation including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, delivery notes, packing lists and customers clearance paperwork.
  • Ensure all records are compliant with internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with relevant regulatory bodies including Customs, DLD and DOF officers.
  • Liaise professionally and proactively to facilitate smooth inbound and outbound clearances, resolve documentation issues and ensure full regulatory compliance at all touchpoints

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics operations, supply chain planning
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with logistics or transport management systems (TMS) is an added advantage
  • Strong planning and analytical skills with the ability to coordinate across production, warehouse and transport functions
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform effectively under pressure
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proactive, adaptable and eager to learn with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new processes, systems and environments
  • Good working proficiency in English
