Job Description

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Senior Specialist / Expert is responsible for overseeing and executing day-to-day supply chain operations, focusing on third-party warehouse (3PL) management, logistics coordination, and import documentation. This role requires a hands-on professional who possesses strong analytical skills to handle data, the ability to independently resolve operational issues, and a proactive mindset to collaborate across departments and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • [Core Operation & 3PL] Oversee and manage day-to-day operations with the third-party warehouse (3PL), including issuing delivery notes, processing system orders, arranging transportation for product transfers, and planning/arranging part-time workers during peak periods.
  • [Cross-functional Support] Collaborate closely with internal departments—including Offline Events, Retail, and Accounting teams—to effectively manage, track, and prioritize inbound and outbound inventory movements, ensuring alignment with physical stock and accounting records.
  • [Import & Logistics] Partner with customs brokers to handle import/export customs clearance and documentation, including TISI applications and other regulatory requirements.
  • [Reporting & Analysis] Produce monthly supply chain reports (e.g., actual performance vs. KPIs, inventory tracking), and contribute to task/issue analysis to propose practical action plans for operational improvement.
  • [Relationship Management] Maintain strong, professional relationships with suppliers and distributors to ensure smooth end-to-end operations.
  • Handle any other ad hoc duties as required to support team performance.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of Supply Chain and or Production Control experience at international corporations. 
  • Work experience in Japanese manufacturing industry is plus. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets (advance Microsoft Excel skills).
  • Strong analytical and execution skills.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
  • Must be available to conduct on-site visits to third-party warehouse as required.
  • Available to work weekends during event periods.
  • Able to communicate in Japanese is plus (minimum N3 level or above).
  • General knowledge in Accounting is plus.
