Primary Responsibilities:
End-to-End Supply Planning:
- Manage the end-to-end supply planning ensuring established customer demand can be meet. Main
- areas include component categorization (ABC-XYZ), establishing planning models, based on
statistical models establish the right buffers in the right places, implement lead time reduction
- programs, initiate actions to address material shortages and material excess.
- Ensure alignment with business goals and customer demands.
- Accountability for supply commits to regions/customers aligned with global allocation rules.
Inventory and Buffer Management:
- Establish and manage inventory buffers according to company policies using structured statistical models. Monitor buffer levels and adjust as necessary to maintain supply chain stability. Hands-on
- experience with planning system parameter governance (LT, lot size, MOQ).
Lead Time Reduction:
- Identify opportunities and drive initiatives to reduce lead times across product lines. Implement
- process improvements to enhance supply chain responsiveness.
Material Management:
- Identify potential material shortages and excesses. Develop and implement resolution strategies to address imbalances.
Component Categorization:
- Categorize components using ABC-XYZ methodology to improve supply chain processes and
- inventory management. Utilize component categorization to streamline procurement and production planning.
Statistical Analysis and Planning:
- Utilize strong statistical skills for concurrent supply chain planning. Perform complex data analysis to support decision-making processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with factory planning, demand planning, commodity management, and engineering teams. Ensure effective communication and coordination across departments.
S&OP Process:
- Actively participate in the S&OP process. Define and implement strategies to meet established
- demand at optimum cost. Ensure supply feasibility of demand changes and communicate impacts clearly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field or relevant working experience.
- 6-8 years of experience in supply chain planning or similar, preferably within an international OEM environment. Experience collaborating with contract manufacturers or external vendors.
- Understanding of the telecom and hyperscale industries is a plus.
- Proficiency in concurrent supply chain planning tools and software (e.g., Kinaxis, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent). Advanced Excel and data base skills are essential.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills with the ability to perform complex data analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing and comprehension) to work with global partners outside of Thailand is a requirement.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proactively demonstrates leadership qualities and the ability to drive initiatives to completion.
- Takes initiative and can drive tasks to conclusion based on general direction.
