What you'll do:

The Supply Planning Manager for the AP region will hold a key leadership position, primarily focused on supply chain planning. Your responsibilities will span across a wide range, from overseeing the supply from our diverse partners including OEMs and a combined 19 Group factories to executing strategic inventory management and navigating planning challenges. Your role extends to supporting 19 AP sales companies across 8 distinct sales areas. Beyond strategy, your role encompasses team leadership. You will directly oversee two supply planners and one senior material planner who will assist in the delivery of supply planning tasks. Your primary objective is to enhance collaboration and process efficiency, ensuring timely stock availability to maximize regional net sales.

In detail, you will:

  • Resource and Inventory Management:
  • Conduct RCCP for APMEA group factories and drive the production planning together with the Ind Ops teams as per monthly S&OP cadence
  • Oversee inventory levels across internal factories to ensure optimal stock levels, adjusting based on demand & supply variability
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure timely stock availability, maximizing net sales while minimizing obsolescence and overstock situations
  • Planning and Forecasting:
  • Manage Regional Container forecasting by evaluating sales companies monthly net requirements
  • Implement and maintain an exception-based planning system to address constraints and develop solutions collaboratively with production and sales teams
  • Lead strategic planning of electronics/key components, working closely with the group supply chain electronics teams to address constraints
  • Supplier Relationship Management:
  • Build and foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a consistent and timely flow of goods
  • Negotiate agreements, lead times, and delivery schedules with XBA factories & OEM suppliers, addressing any production process constraints
  • Supply Reviews:
  • Lead and organize monthly and weekly supply reviews with factories, ensuring alignment between demand and supply
  • Provide feedback, strategic insights, and constraint supply plans to sales companies and factory heads based on market trends, forecasts, and inventory levels
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Establish efficient communication channels with sales, production, procurement, and other relevant departments, ensuring alignment in supply chain strategies
  • Deliver consistent updates and reports to upper management on supply chain metrics, achievements, and improvement areas
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Drive BA initiatives to enhance business KPIs related to supply such as CLC, UFR factories, DOTC,
  • Analyze supply chain processes, pinpoint areas of improvement, and execute best practices
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in supply chain management to implement innovative strategies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Management
  • Post-graduation in the field of Logistics and supply chain will be a plus point
  • Professional certification i.e. ASCM (formerly known as APICS) CPIM or CSCP will be another plus point
  • 10+ years experience in Supply Planning (Requirements Planning, Production Planning & Material Requirement Planning), ideally in a sales/manufacturing organization within the consumer durable goods, automotive or electronics industry
  • Working knowledge of Finance, Demand Planning is required.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, bringing some experience in managing a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cultural sensitivity
  • Great personal organization skills, attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines in the multicultural environment
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly (both written and in presentations)
  • Experience working with advanced supply chain planning tools (SAP-IBP, SAP-APO)
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint & MS Projects)
  • Experience in utilizing (SAP ECC, SAP APO/SAP IBP, SAP BI, Power BI) and should be an Excel advance user
  • Language skills: both verbal and written fluency in English is a must. Additional Languages is a plus
