Job Overview

We are looking for a Supervisor I – Business Support (Chinese Translator) to oversee administrative operations while serving as the key translator/interpreter for Chinese–Thai–English communication. This role supports cross‑functional teams, ensures smooth business operations, and facilitates accurate and timely translation for plant operations, management communication, documentation, and external stakeholders.

You will supervise administrative activities and provide professional translation for meetings, documents, and daily communication to support a seamless workflow between local teams and Chinese‑speaking counterparts.

Job Requirements

  • Translation & Interpretation
    • Provide accurate Chinese 100% ↔ Thai 100% ↔ English 50% translation for meetings, training, documentation, and technical communication.
    • Support Chinese expatriates, visitors, and engineers with clear communication across departments.
    • Translate business documents, SOPs, internal announcements, and HR/operations materials.
    • Ensure tone, terminology, and context remain consistent with TE policies and culture.
Business Support & Administration

  • Supervise daily office administration activities and coordinate office support staff.
  • Manage office services including vendors, document control, filing, mail distribution, and messenger services.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and assign tasks for administrative and data entry staff.
  • Support facilities operations including:
    • Canteen service coordination
    • Transportation scheduling
    • Security and property management
    • Office facilities & hospitality support for visitors
Cross‑Functional Support

  • Facilitate communication between Thai teams and Chinese engineering/operation teams.
  • Support onboarding and local orientation for Chinese employees/visitors.
  • Assist management with multilingual communication and cross‑cultural alignment.

What Your Background Should Look Like

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Languages, Communication, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in business support, administration, or translation roles.
  • Strong proficiency in:
    • Chinese (Mandarin) – advanced
    • Thai – native or fluent
    • English – good communication skills
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
