Khiri Core is the specialist team based at our Nonthaburi group office that proactively supports country operating ventures and monitors progress across functional disciplines - marketing, finance, systems, sustainability and product - as well as country operating units and group performance in aggregate. Khiri Core team members are functional experts that work together to deliver best practices, proactive support and training tools, and insightful, value-adding feedback.

Job Description
The Sustainability Manager will lead and coordinate sustainability initiatives across all nine operating countries of Khiri Travel, ensuring alignment with the company wide's responsible tourism strategy, operational standards, and long-term sustainability goals.
The role will oversee the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of sustainability practices across product development, supplier engagement, operations, community partnerships, and internal culture.
Reporting to: Khiri Core Management & YAANA Ventures Sustainability Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Sustainability Strategy & Coordination
- Lead and coordinate sustainability initiatives across all operating countries, ensuring alignment with company objectives and commitments
- Monitor and manage Khiri Travel's sustainability performance through benchmarking, market research, and competitor analysis to maintain leadership in responsible tourism in Asia
- Develop and implement sustainability action plans, KPIs, policies, reporting frameworks, and initiatives in collaboration with YAANA Ventures Sustainability Manager
- Lead and support the maintenance of Khiri Travel's GSTC certification and other relevant sustainability frameworks
- Prepare the Annual Sustainability Report, impact summaries, and sustainability updates for management and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant partners, certification bodies, and industry organizations, while representing Khiri Travel at sustainability forums, events, and partnerships
- Support sustainability-related audits, questionnaires, client requests, and due diligence processes
- Collaborate with the Marketing and PR teams to communicate Khiri Travel's responsible tourism achievements and commitments
- Collaborate closely with Khiri Core team members, including Systems, Product, and Finance, to support sustainability integration across the company
Sustainable Product & Operational Development
- Coordinate sustainability assessments for hotels, activities, and suppliers in partnership with external certification bodies and sustainability partners
- Support the integration of regenerative and responsible tourism principles into product development and operational practices
- Coordinate sustainability training programs for staff, guides, Green Teams, and operational teams across all offices in collaboration with sustainability partners
- Foster a culture of sustainability and responsible tourism throughout all departments and country offices
- Consolidate and coordinate quarterly Green Team reporting across all operating countries

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Tourism Management, Environmental Studies, International Development, ESG, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sustainability, responsible tourism, ESG, CSR, NGO management, or related fields.
- Experience within hospitality, tourism, or destination management is preferred.
- Strong understanding of sustainable tourism frameworks and certifications, including the Sustainable Tourism Course by GSTC or higher.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Passion for sustainable tourism, cultural preservation, environmental stewardship, and community impact.
- Strong project management, coordination, analytical, and reporting capabilities, with experience managing sustainability initiatives across diverse cultural and operational contexts preferred.
