About the Department:

Audit is an independent function that provides objective assurance and consulting to add value and improve the Group's operations. We help the Group achieve its strategic objectives by adopting a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.

Job description:

  • Develop and implement the IA transformation strategies in terms of IA innovation
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support IA innovation, decision science development, Data Analytics (DA) implementation and adoption.
  • Improve and work on the variety of the initiatives and activities that will enhance the internal audit capabilities.
  • Research, design, develop, analyze and suggest new innovation and decision science concepts/ methods to be applied to enhance IA processes, including automation.
  • Facilitate the innovation process in order to achieve the greater effectiveness and efficiency in terms improving audit coverage, quality and business impact.
  • Conduct the special assignments where appropriate as assigned by Country Head of IA
  • Partner with audit teams to identify the control weaknesses through analyzing large data files from various systems and understanding the business processes
  • Develop sustainable and re-usable algorithm and data analytics models/programs to improve the audit efficiency and coverage
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and datamarts to facilitate continuous auditing
  • Provide training to audit staff on how to develop and execute audit analytics programs

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Statistics
  • Strong analytical skills and logical thinking with sound business acumen
  • Minimum 12-15 years of experience in data analytics, programming, automation and business intelligence tools. Statistical Analytics is preferable.
  • Practical experience with data analysis/mining tools (e.g. SAS, Python, R) and database management system (e.g. SQL Server/Oracle or other RDBMS platform)
  • Practical experience with data visualization tools (e.g. QlikSense, PowerBI, Tableu). QlikSense is preferable
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Good communication skills - both oral and written communication skills
  • Energetic performer. Well-organized and willingness to adapt to change
