Work you'll do

As a Senior Manager in the Deloitte Quality and Risk Management team, you will play a key role in influencing the outcomes of our High Value and Priority Projects across our wide range of services, in the Southeast Asia region.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the Quality and Risk Management (QRM) team together with project teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Assist project teams to deliver their financial targets and business outcomes by helping reduce the profit erosion on projects (Cost of Quality, COQ).
  • Review project contract documents such as Statement of Work, Change Orders, Subcontractor agreements etc., to ensure that the delivery risks in the engagement are addressed at the start through the agreement
  • Support QA Partners in conducting engagement reviews and checks on large active projects.
  • Review projects from all perspectives including contract management, financial management, risk management, use of tools and methodologies, compliance to guidelines etc.
  • Recommend corrective and/or mitigating actions as appropriate
  • Report on project status to internal stakeholders and to Clients, mediating as required
  • Continually optimize the allocation of the Firm's resources to minimize COQ
  • Periodically identify, recommend and implement improvements to the quality management processes
  • Contribute to the Firm's knowledge management efforts, eg by working with engagement teams as required to sanitize, collect and publish quals and collaterals etc

Requirements:-

Mandatory Experience

  • Minimum 8-10 years of systems implementation experience delivering large and/or complex ICT projects for external clients with at least 5-7 years in day-to-day project/program management
  • Experience in one or more COTS (e.g. SAP, Oracle), AI & Data and/or cloud-based/SaaS solutions eg Salesforce, Workday etc. is preferred.
  • Experience in identifying and managing risks and overseeing quality as part of the project delivery responsibilities

Mandatory Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively across all levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving mindset
  • Able to make good decisions under pressure and to multi-task

Additional Considerations

  • Experience in managing large Account Programs and/or involved in developing and executing overall project roadmaps, including the Agile delivery approach would be a plus
  • A self-motivated, proactive individual who is able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • The candidate will need to be based in Thailand
  • Occasional travel in the Southeast Asia region may be required

Certifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related discipline
  • Candidates with Project Management, Agile delivery methodology, Contract Management, Six Sigma Certifications etc have an added advantage
