JOB PURPOSE

Execute recruitment efforts for designated projects to attract, select, and hire the best talent in line with project timelines and requirements, while also leading complex Learning and Development initiatives to ensure their effective implementation within scope.

JOB MAIN CHALLENGES

  • High volume hiring, managing large recruitment drives with tight deadlines.
  • Specialized skillsets: recruiting for niche and hard-to-find skills required for specific project.
  • Stakeholder management: collaborate effectively with project managers, departmental heads and external vendors to align hiring needs.
  • Talent availability: Navigating market shortages and competitors to attract top talent.
  • Leading and implementing complex and diverse Learning and Development projects for the population within the scope.
  • Partnering with various stakeholders, such as managers, employees, subject matter experts, third-party providers, and relevant authorities, to ensure the alignment, quality, compliance, and effectiveness of the learning programs and processes.
  • High level of expertise, autonomy, and data analytics skills to design, facilitate, evaluate, and report on the learning outcomes and impact on the business.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage the entire recruitment process for project roles and support functions, from sourcing and screening to interviews, offers, and onboarding.
  • Communicate regularly with hiring managers and project leads to ensure hiring aligns with project needs.
  • Proactively find candidates through job boards, social media, campus engagement, career fairs, networking events, and industry contacts to maintain a strong talent pool.
  • Work with external agencies and headhunters when needed to fill specialized or urgent roles.
  • Ensure all hiring activities follow company policies and legal requirements and provide updates on recruitment progress.
  • Provide a positive candidate's experience by making the process smooth and reflecting the company's values.
  • Identify training needs in collaboration with line managers and recommend suitable learning options, considering appropriate delivery methods.
  • Help managers and employees understand the training plans and their roles in delivering them.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and external partners to support the implementation of learning solutions.
  • Ensure the company complies with all relevant training laws and regulations.
  • Organize and facilitate internal training events and workshops, delivering content when needed.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training activities and suggest improvements.
  • Work with internal teams and external providers to deliver training, monitor their performance, and give timely feedback.
  • Keep training costs within approved budgets.
  • Maintain systems, processes, and policies to effectively track and manage learning activities.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on project-based hiring, and experience in a Learning and Development role within an LMS environment.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas or Energy industry will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in using LinkedIn Recruiter, other job board and Boolean search techniques for candidate sourcing.
  • Excellent sourcing and networking skills to identify and attract top talent.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a team especially in planning and organizing learning events.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills in a project environment.
  • Resilient with growth mindset. Independent and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong presentation skills.
