Job Purpose

As Talent Acquisition Lead, APAC, you will help shape and execute the talent acquisition strategy that enables business growth, balancing the global strategy and operating model of talent acquisition as a business partner, with regional demands.

Acting as a trusted advisor to the President, Head of People and senior leadership team, you will combine market intelligence, workforce insights and talent expertise to ensure the business attracts, hires and retains the talent required to achieve business success.

Leading a team of 18 Talent Acquisition professionals, you will oversee approximately 4,500 hires annually driving operational excellence & and a world-class candidate and hiring manager experience.

Role Responsibilities

At the strategic level, you will influence and execute the APAC talent acquisition strategy in line with business growth objectives and workforce plans, acting as a trusted adviser to senior leaders and providing market insights, talent intelligence, and workforce recommendations that sharpen decision-making and surface risk and opportunity early.

Day to day, you will lead end-to-end hiring across the Local APAC business, overseeing approximately 4,500 hires annually. You will hold the team to consistent standards of recruitment governance, compliance, and best practice across all markets, while continuously improving the processes, technology, and service quality that underpin a strong candidate and hiring manager experience.

As a team leader, you will coach and develop 18 Talent Acquisition professionals across the region, building a culture where accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning are the norm. Working alongside business leaders, you will anticipate current and future workforce needs, build talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles, and provide the regular market and competitor intelligence that keeps hiring strategy ahead of demand.

You will also champion CBRE's employer value proposition across APAC, driving inclusive hiring practices, diverse talent attraction strategies, and innovative sourcing and engagement channels that strengthen our talent communities and raise the standard of practice across the function.

Person Specification:Education

You will hold a higher educational qualification. Membership of the CIPD and an Occupational Assessment Qualification are advantageous and will strengthen your application.

Leadership

You have proven experience leading multi-country Talent Acquisition teams in a complex, matrixed organisation. You know how to influence and partner credibly with senior business leaders, and you have a clear track record of building high-performing teams and developing the talent within them.

Strategic Capability

You will have shaped and executed talent strategies that support business growth and transformation, backed by strong workforce planning and talent intelligence capability. You think commercially and translate business priorities into clear recruitment outcomes. Experience working in CBRE's markets or within hard-services and facilities management environments would be a distinct advantage.

Technical Expertise

You bring deep knowledge of modern Talent Acquisition practices, sourcing strategies, and recruitment technologies. You are comfortable using data and analytics to sharpen decision-making and hiring performance, and you have a strong grasp of employer branding, candidate engagement, and market mapping.

Personal Attributes

You are highly collaborative and relationship-driven, resilient, and adaptable in fast-paced environments. You bring curiosity and a genuine focus on continuous improvement, and you operate with a high degree of integrity, judgement, and professionalism. The role requires flexibility to work outside core hours from time to time, reflective of the regional scope of the position.

What Success Will Look Like In This Role

Within your first 12 months, you will have built trusted adviser relationships with senior business leaders across APAC and embedded a proactive, always-on approach to Talent Acquisition that directly supports the business in meeting its growth targets.

You will have strengthened workforce planning and talent intelligence capabilities, raised the quality of the hiring manager and candidate experience, and identified clear opportunities to simplify and improve recruitment processes and outcomes. Your team will be high-performing, well-developed, and positioned to meet the demands of a business that continues to grow.
