Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Recruitment Professional, you will be responsible for all recruiting and staffing programs and activities related to the attraction, selection, hiring, and on-boarding of talent into IBM. You will partner with IBM managers to help build a workforce with critical skills needed to move the business forward. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Attract and Select Talent: Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract top talent, and collaborate with hiring managers to select the best candidates for open positions.
  • Partner with Managers: Work closely with IBM managers to understand their staffing needs and develop recruitment plans to meet those needs.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that talent processes comply with appropriate business controls and initiate or maintain immigration statuses as necessary.
  • Lead Team Members: Provide work direction, guide employees on various processes, and act as a point of escalation for team members.
  • Deliver Staffing Solutions: Develop and deliver staffing solutions to meet business needs, including managing the recruitment process from job posting to on-boarding.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • Recruitment Strategy Development: Exposure to developing and implementing recruiting strategies to attract top talent, including collaborating with hiring managers to select the best candidates for open positions.
  • Talent Acquisition Process Management: Experience working with talent acquisition processes, including managing the recruitment process from job posting to on-boarding.
  • Business Controls Compliance: Exposure to ensuring talent processes comply with appropriate business controls, including initiating or maintaining immigration statuses as necessary.
  • Team Leadership: Experience providing work direction, guiding employees on various processes, and acting as a point of escalation for team members.
  • Staffing Needs Analysis: Exposure to analyzing staffing needs and developing recruitment plans to meet those needs, including partnering with managers to understand their requirements.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

  • Immigration Status Management: Exposure to initiating or maintaining immigration statuses, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and business controls.
  • Talent Acquisition Tools: Experience working with recruitment tools and systems to streamline the hiring process and improve candidate experience.
  • Workforce Planning: Exposure to analyzing staffing needs and developing recruitment plans to meet business objectives, including partnering with managers to understand their requirements.
