This role is primarily responsible for managing tax-related matters for the company's gaming business, ensuring accuracy and full compliance.
. Handle various tax filings for the Singapore entity, with a focus on GST and CIT.
. Be familiar with Singapore tax regulations and filing procedures, ensuring all tax operations comply with Singapore laws, regulations, and international accounting standards.
. Act as the main point of contact to coordinate with external auditors and tax agents, and assist with tax audits.
. Track and record the company's fixed asset activities, including depreciation and disposals as required.
. Perform monthly reconciliations between the fixed asset sub-ledger and the general ledger, and prepare asset roll-forward schedules for management review.
. Handle general ledger postings related to tax matters, ensuring entries comply with accounting standards.
. Participate in the implementation and optimization of financial systems to improve efficiency and accuracy of accounting workflows.
. Assist with ad-hoc tasks assigned by management, including research, data analysis, and reconciliations.
. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or ISCA (or equivalent) are preferred.
. Experience in tax accounting candidates with experience in the gaming industry, tech industry, or accounting firms (e.g., Big Four) are preferred.
. Familiar with Singapore Accounting Standards, IFRS, and tax compliance requirements.
. Understanding of gaming tax regulations in Singapore and relevant state/local laws will be an added advantage.
. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
. Strong communication skills and customer service mindset, with the ability to resolve issues professionally.
