Job Summary

BDC is looking for an experienced Tax Manager to oversee Thailand tax compliance, including managing tax incentives and special schemes, and coordinating stamp duty obligations, by working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory requirements are met and documentation is properly maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Thailand tax compliance including corporate income tax, indirect taxes and withholding tax, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Thailand tax incentives, working cross-functionally to ensure compliance, track ongoing eligibility and coordinate renewals. This includes import duty and import VAT matters that may benefit from tax incentives and special schemes.
  • Coordinate Thailand stamp duty compliance by working cross-functionally to ensure dutiable instruments are identified and stamped, perform necessary filings, monitor deadlines and maintain records.
  • Manage audits, queries and requests from tax and regulatory authorities, engaging external tax advisors, when necessary.
  • Provide Thailand tax guidance to support business initiatives.
  • Review of current and deferred tax provisions for all legal entities in the Thailand.
  • Support implementation of BEPS 2.0 Pillar Two Global Minimum Tax.
  • Oversee annual transfer pricing requirements in Thailand. Including local file, master file and transfer pricing returns. Support intercompany pricing policies.
  • Support tax structuring initiatives (e.g. joint ventures, M&A).
  • Monitor tax developments in Thailand.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy/finance/taxation or equivalent from a recognised educational institute
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant tax experience, with in-house tax exposure.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Thai tax regulations, including corporate income tax, withholding tax, VAT, and related statutory filings
  • Proven experience in preparing and reviewing tax computations, tax returns, and supporting schedules independently
  • Hands-on experience in managing tax audits, tax inspections, and direct communication with the Thai Revenue Department
  • Ability to interpret tax laws, identify tax risks, and provide practical tax solutions to the business
  • Detail-oriented, well-organised, and able to manage multiple tax matters simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external advisors
  • Proficient in both Thai and English, spoken and written; ability to communicate in Chinese is a strong advantage
  • Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with accounting/ERP systems
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or Thai Tax certifications are an advantage
