Independently manage Thai tax compliance matters, including withholding tax, VAT, stamp duty, Corporate Income Tax, and other applicable local taxes.
Assess the tax implications of business transactions and ensure all required tax returns are prepared and filed accurately and on time.
Handle Corporate Income Tax matters, including tax computation, reconciliation, review, and filing of corporate tax returns.
Manage BOI-related financial and tax reporting in compliance with applicable BOI regulations.
Independently issue sales invoices and prepare output VAT reports.
Liaise directly with the Thai Revenue Department, external tax consultants, and other relevant authorities.
Coordinate with external auditors and provide the necessary information and documentation for the annual audit.
Review employee reimbursement claims to ensure compliance with company policies and Thai tax requirements.
Support contract reviews from tax, finance, and regulatory compliance perspectives.
Provide practical tax planning and optimization recommendations based on the company's business operations.
Perform other finance, tax, and compliance-related duties assigned by supervisors. The scope of responsibilities may be adjusted according to business requirements.
Requirements
Solid knowledge of Thai tax laws, accounting practices, and local financial compliance requirements.
Hands-on experience with withholding tax, VAT, stamp duty, Corporate Income Tax, and relevant tax filings.
Ability to independently assess tax implications and make sound tax-related judgments.
Ability to communicate directly and professionally with tax authorities, auditors, tax consultants, and external advisors.
Experience reviewing reimbursement claims, invoices, contracts, and tax-related supporting documents.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work effectively under strict deadlines.
Good command of English or Chinese is an advantage.
Flexible and able to adapt to changes in responsibilities and work arrangements according to business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a multinational company or cross-border business environment.
Previous experience handling financial and tax reporting for a BOI-promoted company.
Valid CPD accountant registration or CPA licence; candidates holding either qualification will receive special consideration.
Strong communication skills and practical problem-solving ability.
