Contract Period:
- 14 September 2026 - 31 December 2027, with option to extend for 2028
Deployment
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Working Hours: 7:30 AM-3:30 PM, including 1-hour unpaid lunch break
- Paid Working Hours: 7 hours/day
- Note: No work is generally required during the June and December school holiday periods. These periods will be unpaid, as no service is rendered.
Job Responsibilities
- Support teachers in preparing and conducting hands-on Science lessons and activities.
- Prepare Science apparatus, teaching resources and materials before lessons.
- Assist teachers during Science lessons with distribution and management of resources.
- Monitor students use of Science apparatus and provide appropriate assistance.
- Maintain and organize resources in the Science Laboratory and MakerSpace.
- Prepare materials through cutting, laminating, sorting and organizing.
- Assist with Science competitions, assessments, activities and school events.
- Set up and dismantle activity stations, displays and event materials.
- Provide logistical and administrative support to other school departments when required.
- Assist with packing and organizing resources for the school's relocation.
- Perform general administrative/reception or library support when required.
- Carry, move and set up equipment and materials as part of daily duties.
Requirements
- Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.
- Minimum Secondary education / GCE O-Level, A-Level or equivalent.
- Comfortable performing physical duties including lifting, carrying and setting up equipment.
Added Advantage
Candidates possessing any of the following will be given preference:
- Previous MOE school / primary-school working experience.
- Previous Science Laboratory / Science Room / laboratory support experience.
- First Aid / CPR + AED certification.
- Microsoft Office / computer application certification.
