Team Lead, Application Development (C#)

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and driven Team Lead, Application Development to take responsibility for our payment acquiring system development. You'll play a key role in designing scalable, secure, and high-performing payment solutions that power seamless transactions across Southeast Asia.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage a high-performing R&D team through the full development lifecycle — from requirement analysis and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Partner with Product, Business, and Operations teams to integrate Southeast Asian payment channels (online and offline), delivering secure and reliable payment experiences.
• Design and optimize system architecture to ensure scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Drive technical excellence, adopting best practices in software development and encouraging continuous learning across the team.
• Explore new technologies and payment innovations to enhance system capabilities and maintain our competitive edge.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in payment acquiring technology, with proven success leading R&D or engineering teams.
• Strong expertise in payment infrastructure, system architecture, and transaction flow design, including idempotent payment systems.
• Solid understanding of network architecture, database management (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server), and cost optimization for large-scale systems.
• Familiarity with Southeast Asian payment channels, including online (e-wallets, bank transfers) or offline (POS, QR code payments).
• Excellent command of English, with the ability to work effectively in a multinational environment.
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of payment security standards (e.g., PCI DSS), Funding systems, or Risk Control systems is a plus.
