Job Description
- Translate divisional strategy into actionable plans within the commercial controlling function, ensuring effective execution and alignment.
- Serve as a strategic partner to commercial leaders by challenging assumptions, guiding performance, and supporting crossfunctional decisionmaking.
- Build, mentor, and manage a skilled team while overseeing personnel development, performance evaluations, and team motivation.
- Standardize, improve, and document processes and organizational structures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead digital transformation programs, including process digitization, system improvements, and coordination with technology interfaces.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting with commercial teams, providing analytical insights and variance commentary to guide corrective actions.
- Track commercial performance using KPIs, delivering timely and accurate reporting to support planning cycles and business strategy.
- Oversee resource planning, including people, tools, and budgets, while implementing measures to prevent or address deviations.
- Analyze costs, identify efficiency opportunities, and drive costoptimization initiatives across the commercial organization.
- Shape control frameworks, calculation models, and reporting systems to enhance transparency and steer the business effectively
The Successful Applicant
A successful Teamlead Commercial Control should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, paired with at least five years of relevant experience and initial leadership exposure.
- Strong business partnering mindset, able to challenge, guide, and collaborate with commercial stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and implement peopledevelopment measures.
- Experience driving process optimization and digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in budgeting, forecasting, KPI definition, and commercial data interpretation.
- Solid understanding of cost control, resource planning, and operational performance measurement.
- Comfortable managing crossfunctional relationships and ensuring smooth information flow.
- Familiarity with internal controls, compliance requirements, and efficient use of IT systems.
