Technical Business Analyst

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with strong Banking domain experience to join our project team. You will be involved throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), working closely with business stakeholders, developers, testers, and vendors to deliver high-quality technology solutions.

The ideal candidate possesses strong business analysis skills together with technical knowledge in Java applications, SQL, and backend testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Facilitate requirement gathering workshops, design thinking sessions, and stakeholder discussions.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, use cases, and technical solutions.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including BRD, functional specifications, design documents, and technical documentation.
• Conduct impact analysis for change requests and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Support application design discussions and provide technical input where applicable.
• Develop test strategies, test cases, and ensure traceability between requirements and testing.
• Perform functional, integration, and backend testing, including log analysis and data validation.
• Support SIT, UAT, issue investigation, defect tracking, and production implementation.
• Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate with local and offshore development teams until resolution.
• Conduct user training and prepare user guides where required.
• Support pre-sales activities by preparing solution proposals when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Must have experience in the Banking domain.
• Experience throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile methodology.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Experience supporting SIT/UAT and performing functional and backend testing.
• Ability to analyze backend logs, perform data mapping, and validate system data.
• Knowledge of change management and incident management processes.
• Technical knowledge in:Java application environment (preferred)SQLJira
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Able to work independently under tight project timelines.
• A proactive team player with excellent customer service orientation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience defining high-level solution architecture.
• Knowledge of application integration and data migration.
• Experience preparing technical solution proposals for pre-sales activities.

Language Requirement

• Proficient in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and clients.
