We're looking for an experienced Technical Manager to lead the Technical & Reliability Function, driving engineering excellence, equipment reliability, people capability, and sustainable business performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead Technical Governance & Engineering Standards
- Own Equipment Reliability & Reliability Strategy
- Govern Critical Equipment & Bad Actor Management
- Lead Gatekeeping, Technical Review, RCA & Failure Analysis
- Govern the end-to-end Work Order Management (WOM) Chain
- Notification → Gatekeeping → Technical Review → Planning → Scheduling → Execution → Handover → TECO → Lessons Learned
- Drive Maintenance Planning, Scheduling & Work Readiness
- Optimize PM / CBM / PdM / RCM
- Govern Shutdown & Major Maintenance Technical Assurance
- Strengthen SAP PM / CMMS & Engineering Data Quality
- Drive Reliability Improvement & Maintenance Cost Optimization
- Develop Engineering Competency & Technical Capability
- Coach and develop Engineers, Planners, Schedulers, Foremen & Technicians
- Lead cross-functional alignment with Production, Quality, Projects, Warehouse, and Contractors
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Management or Asset Management is an advantage.
Required Skills
- Experience — Must Have
- 10–15+ years in Plant Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability or Asset Management.
- Minimum 5 years in Engineering / Maintenance / Reliability leadership.
- Strong experience in manufacturing or process industry.
- Proven hands-on experience in end-to-end Work Order Management (WOM) — this is a key requirement.
- Practical experience in Gatekeeping, Maintenance Prioritization, Technical Review, Planning, Scheduling, Execution and TECO.
- Strong experience in Reliability Engineering, RCA, Failure Analysis, Critical Equipment and Bad Actor Management.
- Strong knowledge and practical application of PM / CBM / PdM / RCM.
- Experience in Shutdown / Turnaround / Major Maintenance planning and execution.
- Strong working experience with SAP PM / CMMS, including Work Orders, Equipment History, Failure Coding, TECO and Data Quality.
- Proven results in improving Equipment Reliability, reducing Unplanned Downtime and Repeat Failures, and optimizing Maintenance Cost.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching and developing engineering and maintenance teams.
