Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager / Technical Product Owner to lead the planning, execution, and evolution of our data analytics and AI-enabled products and platforms. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, technical execution, and delivery management.

You will work closely with Technical Leads, Engineering and Data teams, Project Managers, and business stakeholders to ensure that product requirements are well-defined, technically sound, and delivered with quality and predictability. You'll be equally comfortable writing a crisp PRD, running backlog grooming, discussing schema design with an engineer, and presenting roadmap trade-offs to leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for data analytics and platform initiatives.
• Translate ambiguous business and stakeholder needs into clear, structured technical requirements, PRDs, epics, and user stories.
• Partner with Technical Leads and engineering teams to validate feasibility, effort estimation, and technical approach.
• Define and maintain product backlogs, prioritization frameworks, and release roadmaps.
• Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, story refinement, and release management as the Product Owner for one or more scrum teams.
• Ensure alignment between product goals, technical execution, and delivery timelines across cross-functional teams.
• Act as the primary bridge between business/political-strategy stakeholders and technical/data teams.
• Scope and guide AI/LLM-driven features (e.g., intelligent recommendations, RAG-based assistants, automated insights) in partnership with data science and engineering.
• Support data-driven decision-making by defining metrics, KPIs, and dashboards that track product and platform health.

Experience and Qualifications:

• 7+ years of relevant experience in Technical Product Management, Technical Product Ownership, Data-focused Product roles, or Tech-heavy Program/Project Management roles with strong product exposure.
• Masters in Computer science, engineering, data analytics or related fields.
• Strong understanding of data analytics concepts — data pipelines & ETL processes (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt, Talend, Informatica).
• Strong understanding of data warehousing (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Strong understanding of analytics dashboards, reporting layers, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker/Looker Studio).
• Strong exposure to cloud-based data ecosystems (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python.
