BioS Thailand is part of a global biotechnology company based in Barcelona, committed to improving health and wellness by delivering innovative analytical solutions. We are launching our presence in the food and beverage sector and are looking for a driven Technical Sales Manager to lead this strategic growth.
As the Technical Sales Manager, you will own the end-to-end execution for the Food & Beverage segment, focusing on analytical solutions (reagents and instruments) for third-party laboratories and industry players across seafood (tuna & aquaculture), juice, and fruit sectors.
You will report directly to the Country Manager and play a critical role in building a robust, conversion-driven pipeline, developing strategic customer relationships, and ensuring successful execution from opportunity identification to business closure and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities (customers, pricing, competition)
- Build and maintain a well-structured sales pipeline to drive sustainable business growth
- Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure and implementation
- Drive conversion from demo to confirmed business through disciplined follow-up
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and KOLs
- Engage customers with a consultative, value-based selling approach
- Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and customer training
- Translate technical solutions into clear commercial value propositions
- Ensure cross-functional alignment and accurate reporting to support execution and forecasting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, or technical sales, ideally within chemistry, microbiology, life sciences, or food-related industries
- Proven track record in managing full sales cycle and closing deals
- Strong understanding of the Thai Food & Beverage industry (seafood, aquaculture, fruit/juice preferred)
- Fluent Thai and strong English communication skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally
