  • Collaborate with sales teams to determine the most appropriate and cost-effective technical solutions during the proposal stage, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company objectives.
  • Oversee the review and clarification of product requirements from sales personnel and customers, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of project specifications.
  • Offer expert technical advice and feedback on inquiry specifications to customers, channel partners, sales personnel, and engineers regarding KUKA products, systems, and applications.
  • Provide guidance and support during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations, ensuring clarity and confidence in proposed solutions.
  • Direct the team in performing analytic and diagnostic studies to identify the most suitable technical solutions for customer needs, utilizing simulation and KUKA software.
  • Oversee the proposal of technical solutions to internal staff and customers for complex inquiries and product issues, fostering collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Compile and present weekly reports to management.
  • Ensure the accurate update and maintenance of all TSS Support information in the internal data station, safeguarding KUKA's private and confidential information.
  • Work closely with engineering, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure a unified approach to customer support and project execution.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the Technical Sales Support function, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or equivalent.
  • Experience in automation and robotic technical, Solution, System
  • Knowledge in robotic applications or other automated systems is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge in Vision, Camera is an added advantage
  • Knowledge in Simulation software is an added advantage
  • Ability to communicate concisely, verbally and in writing, in English.
  • Preferably at least 5 year(s) of working experience specialising in automation engineering or in the related field is required for this position.
  • A pro-active and resourceful individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel outstation at short notices.
  • Enjoy new challenges, flexible and adaptable to changes.
  • Team player but also capable to work independently.
  • Have good sense of time management and strong customer focus.
